Farrah Loves Flashdance

Morning everyone it's Shelly here with my latest DT card to show you and you will need your sunglasses for this one!

It's looking like it's going to be a lovely weekend again so I thought I would get out my Hello Sunshine pad from Doodlebug and brighten things up even more.

Doodlebug can't put a foot wrong for me, I absolutely adore their products and this pad has to be one of my favourites.

I've cut various panels of patterned paper and mounted them onto lime green cardstock to make them stand out even more.  I have also faux stitched the edges (because I just can't not do it now!!)

The stamp is the fabulous Farrah Loves Flashdance and whenever I use it it always brings back memories of me and my sister trying to re-enact the final dance scene from Flashdance when we were younger (not very successfully I might add).  I've coloured her with Copics and made a bit of a dotty background using the very tip of the brush nib end of the pens.

I've die cut some circles, snipped around the edges and added buttons to the centres to make my lowers and die cut the number 30 using my Dienamics By The Numbers die.

That's it from me, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Mini CAS Gingerbread Men Christmas cards

Hi Everyone! I hope you are all ok and have had a good couple of weeks. Jane here today. I have been making Christmas cards for Quick Cards Made Easy for months now, so I always find when it comes to making my own that I want to do something Clean and Simple and quick to put together. Last night I had a play with my dies and some lovely new Lawn Fawn goodies from My Mum's Craft shop.

I love Gingerbread men so I just had to get these! I used the 'Oh Snap!' stamps and dies on these cards. I first cut a shaped card base using a scalloped circle die then cut patterned papers from the My Favourite things Fresh Squeezed chevrons pad.

I added a circle cut from Kraft on top of this and then die cut a circle from smooth white card using the stitched circles dies. I stamped my sentiments then stamped the images onto offcuts of white card.

After I had coloured the images, I die cut them using the coordinating dies and added them to the card with foam pads. I added contrasting stick on gems from my stash to finish.

I think I will be making a lot of these this year as they are very quick to put together and I think the little gingerbread man is adorable! I hope you have a lovely Friday and a lovely Weekend!

Thanks A Bunch

Well it's been a rather wet couple of days so far so I am here to bring you something bright & cheerful! I absolutely love Altenew Stamps at the moment - they are so simple yet look so effective.
I used the Hennah Elements Stamp Set & Label Love for this card. Everything was coloured with Copic Pens. I also used one of the Die-namics Stitched Scallop Edges. A nice clean and simple card which you can use for any occasion simply by changing the sentiment.

Thank you for reading & will catch you soon.

Little One

Hello! Blimey it's been a while since I have had a chance to post here - sorry about that folks! I thought I would share one of my cards that was recently in Quick Cards Magazine - I used a whole load of MFT products that of course came from My Mums Craft Shop!
For this card I used a downloaded digi paper for the striped backgrounds. The stars are MFT Stars Background Stamp. I also used MFT Die-namics Stitched Rounded Edges STAX, and Beautiful Baby Stamps & Dies. I added some pearls and also a mini peg.
If any items are out of stock please email us and we can happily order them in for you.

Blossom Loves Balloons

Good morning everyone it's Shelly here with you on the blog today.  As usual I left my card until the last minute and only just got it finished yesterday !

I decided to go with one of my all time favourite colour combos for my card this, pink and white.  Pink tends to always feature somewhere on my cards lol.

The Stamping Bella fans among may have been as excited as I was about the release of the Tiny Townies...or maybe I am just sad to get excited about stamps!  Anyway for my card I've used the gorgeous Blossom loves Balloons...isn't she a cutie.

As always I've coloured her with Copics.  I was going to paper piece the balloons but decided they looked better coloured.

The papers are from the Taylored Expressions Formula for Love paper pad and my white panel has been embossed using the Taylored Expressions Cloudy Days embossing folder.

I cut a pennant using the Dienamics Fishtail Flags Stax dies and added a couple of die cut clouds using foam pads.

The sentiment is also from the stamp set and I've added a couple of buttons just to finish off.

That's it from me for today.  I hope you all enjoy your Saturday.

Thanks a Latte!

Hello Everyone! Jane here and I am returning to my DT position at My Mum's Craft Shop today which Kitty very kindly left open for me. I have had a very busy and eventful time over the past 12 months and have been on a rollercoaster of emotions which have intefered with my desire and ability to craft but life is a bit more settled now and I am very happy. I moved house in July and crafted for the first time yesterday in my new craft area. I was very inpsired by the wonderful 'Your Next Stamp - Thanks a Latte' stamp set which you can find here at My Mum's Craft Shop.

I paired the stamps with papers from the My Favourite Things Fresh Squeezed Chevron pad. I paper pieced the coffee cup and added some shading to the lid with distress inks before adding to a die cut circle and adding it to my simple layout.

I added some embellishments I found in my stash, including some of my favourite wooden stars from Artcuts. The tiny paper flower is from Hobbycraft and the fabric flower is from the Ribbon Girl as are the stick on pearls.

I hope you have a lovey Friday and a good Weekend.
