You're the best!!

Good morning you lovely lot!

I'm checking in with you this morning with some My Mum's Craft Shop inspiration. Using a bunch of Lawn Fawn goodies - which Kitty will have back in stock ASAP! You don't wanna miss out. Keep your eyes peeled for our newsletter dropping into your inbox.

I used the THANKS DIE from Lawn Fawn to create my own chipboard word. I die cut the thanks with some navy blue cardstock 4-5 times and layered them up.

I then stamped a sentiment from Thank You Tags before cutting it with a die from Blueprints 20 from MFT and layering it over a tag cut using another Lawn Fawn die.

As a little whimsy, I stamped coloured and die cut a little critter from Monster Mash stamp set and matching die and tucked it behind the tag.

That's about it. Oh, and my papers are old My Minds Eye!

Thank you for stopping by today! xo

Jeepers creepers...

Hello Everyone! Jane here today with something very bright and colourful for you today. I have been playing with some of the new Woodware stamps which arrived this month at My Mum's Craft Shop.
The set I have used on this card is called 'Sneakers' and is available here. I teamed it with some gorgeous Doodlebug papers from the 'Lovebugs' pad and coloured it in with my Promarkers.

I added lots of stitching to the layers and some gorgeous Ribbons and die cut the sentiment with a Dienamics die before adding it to the card with foam pads. I accessorised with some wooden hearts and tiny buttons and stick on pearls and lots of paper flowers.

Here is a little close up of the shoes. I would love to own a pair like this! I have quite a collection of Converse trainers but don't really wear them that much anymore. I might treat myself to a pink pair this Summer! I hope you have a lovely Friday and stay nice and warm this Weekend.

Happy Birthday

Morning guys! Thank you for stopping by the My Mum's Craft Shop blog today.
You've probably forgotten who I am, as my blog has been very quiet lately. Christmas and New Year and organising myself has just totally got in the way of blogging, but never fear - I've still been crafting.
Today I'm popping in with a MFT and Lawn Fawn combo.
I used MFT - Blueprints 20 to create my mats and layers for this card. Then I gave some inlaying a try.
This was my very first attempt using some cute alphabet dies and a stamp set from Lawn Fawn.
I stamped the fun balloons in MFT Hybrid Ink and finished the card off with some Doodlebug sequins. Very pink and girly for me, but I had a blast making it! :) xx

You're an All Star!

Hello Everyone! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and I wish you all a belated Happy New Year, Jane here today, after a long break Kitty has very kindly invited me back the DT and I am very happy to be here. I hope 2015 will be a good year for you.  The card I am sharing with you today was made with one of my favourite new dies, the Dienamics All Star High Tops. I used this one for my Son's Christmas card as he is a big Converse fan.

I used papers from the Carta  Bella Baby Mine pad which is available on special offer here. I used the latest Sketch Saturday sketch for my layout and added a little paper flower and some stick on pearls from The Ribbon Girl.

The sentiment and the star on the shoe were stamped using stamps from the coordinating stamp set which is available here from My Mum's Craft Shop. I love using this die as it can be made to look so different each time. I used some linen thread for laces and kraft card for the stripe on the sole. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a lovely Friday!
