Sentimental Inspiration

Good Morning, Donna here with some Saturday inspiration for you all.

Our theme this week is 'Sentimental'. The sentiment on my card is a freebie one from Tiddly Inks.

I just had to team it with one of the new and also my favourite Echo Park paper pad. I just love the stunning colours and designs in this one. It's just so versatile. Especially if you love cutting out flowers etc. to use as embellies.

I used: Echo Park We Are Family paper pad
Spellbinders dies
Hobbycraft punches
Butterflies cut on Cameo
Ribbon & gems from stash

Thank You for popping in, please call back soon to check out my lovely teamie's amazing inspiration.

So Sentimental

Good morning guys! :) It's time for some new inspiration from me using products you can find at My Mum's Craft Shop! This week it's a whole load of stamping from me, using a couple various stamp sets, some ProMarker colouring and absolutely NO patterned paper in sight. I KNOW!! Let's get to it.

A super simple card for me, but it's one of my fave makes for a long while. It may not look as detailed as my usual makes, but it still took a good couple hours. I'm such a procrastinator when it comes to placement, colours, everything. Hah!!

I used a pretty new set from My Favorite Things for the main sentiment.
I stamped the 'Happy Birthday' sentiment three times in Blue Raspberry Hybrid ink, also from MFT, near the top of the card. I then masked that section off to stamp my details around it.

I grabbed my Bokeh Builder set from MFT and stamped the striped circles in Blue RaspberryCotton Candy and Spearmint Hybrid ink both above and below the senitment.

To finish it off I just had to use those little birdies from Lawn Fawn - Hello Sunshine. I stamped the little string a couple times above and below the sentiment (while still having it masked off) with Grout Gray Hybrid Ink for a place to sit my little birdies. I stamped two of them (one to look down and the other to look up) and coloured them with my ProMarkers. To add a little extra dimension to that card I cut their bodies out and adhered them with dimensionals after stamping their legs on the string.

As a finishing touch I added a sprinkling of some white Doodlebug sequins. Done.

Thank you for stopping by today. Be sure to check by the My Mum's Craft Shop BLOG for daily inspiration using the new products available at the SHOP. xo

Sentimental Inspiration

Goooood morning crafty peeps!!

The theme this week is "Sentimental" we need to use a sentiment...
This is what I came up with...

Just a simple C6 card base (A4 cut in half), and I used the yummy Bo Bunny "Baby Bump" papers , and the fabulous "Sunny Day Be your best self" stamp set.... I love this sentiment. I just added a touch of colour with my Spectrums. The flowers are die cut from the Paper Smooches "Flowers Dies" .
simple but very effective....
so, what will the rest of the team come up with??
Pop over every day and find out.... and grab those new goodies arriving daily in the Shop.

Best Friends

Good morning guys! :) You're getting a post typed up in the moment this morning, there's a novelty. I quite like this off work lark! Although I'm not really managing to squeeze in much craft time, I'm still having a ball. It's just a treat to have a lie in past 6am! Hah.

So here's a little ickle card from me using some Mama Elephant goodness.

I coloured my little bunnies up with ProMarkers to match my papers from My Minds Eye Now and Then Dorothy. I created a simple little frame with some circle dies and added my bunnies to the front. I stamped a sentiment in MFT Hybrid Ink - Cotton Candy and added it to the bottom of the design.

As for embellishments I raided my little £1 MMCS Embellishments box. I added a Resin Daisy Flower, a Medium Flower Button and a clear coloured gem. I then rediscovered some die cut sequins I had cut when I first for my MFT Die-namics Sequins die.

I hope you like my mini bang of colour this morning. Happy hump day! xo

A Wee cutie- free week

Good morning MMCS fans!
I have my usual Tuesday make to share today, and I have used a Wee topper for this fast card....

The topper comes from the Rosetta set from Hobby House, the papers I have used are one of my favs... My Mind's Eye,Record it "Pretty Things" . I have distressed them a little more using my DI Walnut Stain.... I tucked a doily in behind the topper, and finished with some die cut roses made from the paper scraps. I hadn't used his die and had had it forever (shame on me) .. I really like the result, they took a little time, but I think I shall be making more .
So, I hope you like my offering today, there will be lots more inspiration this week. Keep popping back!!
 Have a super crafty day!

Wishing You The Best On Your Birthday!

Good Morning!
This week as you know all of the Design Team are using products by the brand My Favourite Things!
I kept today's card simple by stamping the sentiment in the centre then adding some Frantage and star embellishments. Although now after having a second look I wish I had moved the stars inwards a little bit so there isn't so much space between them and the sentiment, ho hum!
You can find the Stamp Set I used on today's card HERE.

MFT Stamp Set - 'Birthday Chalkboard Greetings'
Frantage Shabby White Embossing Powder
Brown Star Embellishments from my stash

Archival Ink - Jet Black

Birthday Wishes

Morning guys! :) It's time for some My Mum's Craft Shop inspiration for you all today, in the form of some My Favorite Things goodies!!

Short and sweet post, as this is scheduled and I wanna get my butt to bed!

I used the new Birthday Chalkboard Greetings stamp set to create the sentiment for the front of the card, which I stamped onto water colour paper I coloured with a wash of Distress Ink.

I then stamped and embossed some Sweet Roses and leaves and coloured those with some more Distress Inks before adding them to the bottom of the watercolour panel.

As a finishing touch, I added the watercolour panel to a slice of patterned paper from Echo Park We Are Family pack and added a bunch of Liquid Pearls in Onyx black around the outside.

I hope this encourages you to break out that collection of MFT I know you all have. Thanks for stopping by. xo

fabulous to see you this morning.
WE have a My Favourite Things theme going this week at MY Mum's Craft Shop... and I LOVE that range!!!
Now its kind of a CAS make today.. but here goes...

I have used some gorgeous glittery paper, this is a lovely soft green, with loadsa sparkle. Then I die cut the Die-namics Baby Bib, and added a button . Then I cut out the Baby wording from the fantastic "Bright Lights" alphabet die set... and popped them on. That's it, quick make, which would look equally as good in Blue pink, and even white...
