Happy 18th Birthday!

Hello Everyone!A very Happy Mother's Day to all the lovely Mums out there! Jane here today and I am sharing the card I made for lovely niece who turned 18 a few days ago. I used the very glamorous 'Posh has a Present' image from Stamping Bella as the image on my card and coloured it in with Promarkers and paper pieced her dress and bag.
The papers I have used are by Echo Park and are from the 'Splendid Sunshine' Pad. I layered them all onto bright pink card and added stitching around the edges. The skinny pink ribbon is a very old one from my stash I bought from Create and Craft when I first started cardmaking. I used 'A La Modes Big Birthday numbers for the 18, cutting them out when I had stamped them onto pink paper. The sentiment is a matching one from the set.

Here is a close up of the image. I love paper piecing the Stamping Bella images and giving them pretty patterned dresses. I finished the card with some flowers from my stash and some stick on gems.
I hope you have a lovely Sunday!

Stole my Heart

Hi all,

Well I am here today with my inspiration card not on my normal Monday as I know I am a few days late with this, but lets just say - the first card I made had an argument with a Cup of Tea and the second attempt fell foul to an overactive Ink Pad lol. So this my 3rd attempt finally got made but by then my turn had passed so I waited until today for a free slot to post.

Anyway the theme for this week has been animals and I used this adorable little stamp set from Newtons Nook - Sweetheart Tails.

I teamed this adorable little character with some fabulous Echo Park Papers - Times & Seasons 2 and added just a little wooden heart shaped button to finish. All the elements on the card were cut using dies from the Blueprints 12 collection.

Thank you for popping by the blog today.

Tropical Sensations

Hello, Kitty here :)
This week has flown by for me so today i thought i would share a couple of quick simple MFT cards that were featured in Making Cards Magazine last month...
They are very quick to make but because of the bright colours they are very striking. The stamps used are MFT Tropical Sensations and also the matching Die-namics. I also used the Modern Morocco Cover Up for the background. I simply added some ribbon & pearls to finish.

If any Die-namics are out of stock that you are after please email us as we are putting in another order very soon so we can always order in any dies for you.

Happy Birthday, Cutie

Hey everyone. Happy Hump Day.

Have you guys seen the new release of TOPPERS from The Hobby House?!

Get your butts over to MMCS now and LOOKIE! There are some real cuties.

The pinks and lime greens match perfectly with Everyday Eclectic from Echo Park, so I teamed the image up with those papers, matting stuff onto Blushing Bride from SU!

I added a sentiment using a Lawn Fawn alpha stamps, and embossed it with clear embossing powder. LOVE how that looks. :) I used a MFT Pierced Tags STAX dies to cut that out and I adhered it at a jaunty angle (that's two this week, what's wrong with me?! LOL!!).

I added a little pink button, and a pink gem dot, and a couple Hobby House pearl brads. Then I dug my charms out, as I haven't used any for ages. I came across this little comb from Marianne - I think - so I attached that with some pink bakers twine from Doodlebug. Some standard Liquid Pearls and Stickles and it was a good'n.

That's all I got for ya. Happy Wednesday. Thanks for stopping by. xo

It's Jane here today and I have been playing with lots of my new stash from My Mum's Craft Shop for my card. Glorious Gold

Good morning guys.

It's HUMP day! Which means once this post goes live I will be well on my way through my third last shift at work before NINE WHOLE DAYS OFF. Can ya tell I'm excited?! NO?! Well I am!

This week over at My Mum's Craft Shop we're showcasing everyones favourite..

I used a delicious set from Avery Elle - Petals & Stems

I used some gorgeous yellow, sunshiney paper from My Minds Eye Mildred 6x6 pack. LOVE me some diagonal stripes. I wanted to keep this card pretty simple so I let the main panel with all of the stamping and embossing speak for itself - no fancy embellishments this time round.

Be sure to stop by the blog every day this week and drink up the inspiration from our amazing DT! They blow me away every single time with their creations.

Flowers week on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog

Hello Everyone! Jane here today and I am kicking off a 'Flowers' themed week on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog today. We have been lucky to have some lovely sunshine here this weekend, the daffodils are blooming and Spring is definitely on it's way. To celebrate the lovely weather, I have made a card using some of the lovely new goodies which have arrived recently at My Mum's Craft Shop.

The papers I have used are from the Echo Park 'Splendid Sunshine' pad which is available here. They match the Hobby House 'Summertime' pre-coloured topper so well! I added a sentiment from Paper Smooches 'Scripty Sayings' set which I stamped straight on to the backing papers.

I added a beautiful stitched edge ribbon and lots of paper flowers around the image and finished with a lovely big button tied with twine and a couple of stick on pearls. I hope you have a lovely Sunday.
