Sweet Thinkin' Mae

Morning All.

With less than a month to go, I am now in complete denial about Christmas. So it was really easy to ignore the Christmassy stash on my desk and go for something pink and girly instead!

I've long admired Some Odd Girl Images and I thought it was about time I inked one up. This is Sweet Thinkin' Mae and she was great to colour up.

She goes perfectly with these pretty Country Drive by Echo Park papers, don't you think? I made the flowers myself with some circles of these fabby papers and the butterfly is a Die from CC Designs.

It was quite sunny outside when I made this and with the central heating belting out, I almost convinced myself it's summer. Then that mince pie caught my eye and it was back to Earth with a bump...

It's Chriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiistmas!

Ok, so it's not yet, but it's a week closer than the last time I posted here and the Christmas card tally has gone up by, wait for it... One!!

Have you seen the range of Crafters Companion Humphrey's Corner stamps available from My Mum's Craft Shop? They are adorably cute and such fun to colour up. I thought this one would look fab on a white card, so you can really focus on the cuteness. Lashings of Copics really help make it pop.

Right, can't stop for long, I have a pile of Christmas cards to make. Oh, and don't forget about the new First Edition, Dovecraft Princess Fairytale and Heltz Cuppleditch Neighbourhood Papers available in store now. Postage is just £1.75 or free on all orders over £29.99...

Have a great weekend.

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas...

Is anyone else slightly concerned that Christmas is less than six weeks away?! OMG! How did that happen? When did that happen? But breathe, it's ok. I only need about forty cards. And with this one, I have approximately, well, let me see... erm, three!

I'm afraid I'm still loving the cute new Pickle stamps from Wild Rose Studio. This one is called Christmas Cuddle. Isn't it adorable? And I'm working my way through the fabby Wintry Christmas Paper Pad, also Wild Rose Studio. I love this pad, because the papers aren't really Christmassy. So, on Christmas Eve, when I'm panicking because I don't have time to make the other thirty seven Christmas cards I need, at least I'll be able to console myself with the fact I'll still be able to play with these papers, long after I'm stuffed with Christmas pud...

Have a great weekend!

Sparkle Creations: Relaxing Charlotte

Hello my lovelies! Simonne here with a new Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps card to share with you.

I just adore this stamp - Relaxing Charlotte. What better way to relax and take a bit of "me time" by indulging in a luxurious bubble bath ... and with a glass of something bubbly, of course! Mmmmm...heaven! :)

This is also my card for the current SCRS challenge which is "White on White". I've never made a card like this before, and I must confess that I was just a teeny, tiny bit scared! Eek! I love my patterned papers, so much so that I often think how awesome it would be if I could paper a wall in a particular design. I hunted through my H-UGE paper collection but despite coming across a few papers that would have been o-kay, I couldn't find anything that really fitted, so out came my super-neglected embossing folders. The jury is out ... I'm not quite sure if I like or not ... but I can tell you that it was one of the quickest cards I've ever made! And when my mum first saw it she said it would be perfect for a hen's night invite! :)

Here's a list of supplies I used...

Thanks for dropping by!

More Charlotte

I thought I'd stop by and share a card I've made using Charlotte with Rose from Sparkle Creations. It's the first time I've used one of these fabby stamps and she was great fun to play with.

I've teamed her up with some Christmas papers. Yes, you read that right. These papers are from the Holly Jolly Christmas Pad by Echo Park. I'm a bit of a Bah Humbug when it comes to Christmas papers, so I love that this pad contains papers that I can use for other times of the year too! :)

The border strip has been created using the Open Zig Zag Border Die from Die-Namics. You need to check out this brilliant range, if you've not already. They release new dies every month and they always give a good, clean cut.

Ok, that's all from me today. I hope you have a great weekend.
