Paper Nest Dolls…

Good morning crafty friends, Friday again can you believe it? These weeks certainly do pass quickly

I have a treat for you today, these are the fabulous Paper Nest Dolls stamps and they are exclusively available in the UK from My Mum’s Craft Shop

I used Rainy Day Emma for this first card, such an adorable image and easy to colour too which can be a big help especially if you are short of time…

MMCS 4 Paper Nest Rainy Day Emma

The sentiment is one of the stamps from the Altenew Label Love set which I’ve been using a lot recently, in fact it never leaves my desk

I used some glossy accents on the puddle and for the rain although you can’t really see it well on the picture – I love that frog!

This second one is Hugs & Kisses Emma

MMCS 5 Paper Nest Hugs & Kisses Emma[5]

…and this image goes perfectly with the Crate PaperHeart Day’ papers. The sentiment is from the pad too

Take a look at the other designs in the range, and don’t forget if you are in the UK you can’t get them anywhere else at the moment

I’ll put all the details on my own blog

Have a great weekend everyone

Be Postive...

Good Morning everybody, it's Fi here with today's inspiration!

I just love this stamp set, it's so versatile and has beautiful sentiments included in the set.  It's from Altenew and is called Smile More.

I white embossed the flowers and leaves randomly on to watercoloured card, I did have to do a bit of masking so that I could layer the images.  I then coloured the panel with distress inks, I think distress inks are really easy to use with this technique...I love it!

I stamped the sentiment using black archival ink and then added a few sequins to finish.

Showering You With Love

Hi everyone 😄

It's Janine  here with another Guest Designer card for Kitty and My Mum's Craft Shop.  For this one I've chosen one of the new release stamps from My Favorite Things (MFT); this little watery cuteness is called Pure Innocent 'Showering You With Love' and she's available in the shop. You can buy her as the stamp set only or with the die set as well.

This is such a lovely stamp to play with and one you could really pretty up, or maybe even paper piece. You could also do something similar to mine by simply colour her in bright colours against  a rainy backdrop so she 'pops'. Hope you like it.
Don't forget to drop by tomorrow to see what other lovelies we have to inspire you. 💖
Full details of everything I've used and how I created it can be found on my blog at -
Thank you for looking.

Hello Spring

Hi everyone :)
Well although it may seem like Winter in the UK right now it is meant to be Spring! I have a cheerful card to share with you that was made using some fun products from the latest Doodlebug Collection...
Apologies for the slightly dark photo - very tricky to get decent light here at the moment. For this card I used the new Doodlebug Spring Things Paper Pad for all the background papers. I also used the Spring Things Die Cuts for all the flowers, embellishments and wording. The bunting came in the die cuts and I simply threaded it onto twine and added some rhinestones.

PS - We are waiting for more Doodlebug products to arrive very soon so watch this space!

I will be back soon :)

Elephant tags

Marianne here today.  I love these little guys and decided to make some tags with the MFT adorable elephant stamp and die set and Pebbles tealightful papers. I coloured the images with Copics and added clear Wink of Stella to the butterflies and a little bow to the kite. The tag die is a Spellbinders one I believe. The ribbon is from Crafty Ribbons.

Creative Girls…

Good morning everyone, Anne here with today’s inspiration….
This card is using a stamp from one of my favourite companies Stamping Bella. The range is called Creative Girls and this cutie is Until Olive
You get the image in two sizes and also two sentiments so they are great value for money and I think it’s really useful having a smaller option
This is the larger size and she does have legs, I chopped them off to fit the layout (sorry Olive!)
MMCS 3 Stamping Bella Until Olive
I adore these papers, they are from a Carta Bella pad called Flora
I’ll put a list of everything I used on my own blog and I’d love it if you stopped by
You can click on the product names to take you to them on the website, there are new arrivals coming in all the time so be sure to have a browse through the latest releases. If anything is out of stock just drop Kitty an email, she’d be happy to add it to the next order for you
Have a lovely weekend everyone

Happy New Home.

Hello guys! Here I am again with another make using some of the newest stuff from the MFT release.
I had to have these really useful key and key fob dies... perfect for a New home card...
the Die-namics Lock & Key die set help me create the perfect keyhole frame. I embossed the card with a wood effect die, and distressed it. This was a perfect opportunity to make a wee shaker card. I added the key and the fob from the Stitched Tiny Tags. Quite simple and quick to make. Hope you like it...

Hello  to you , lovely My Mum's Craft Shop fans! my turn today to share my latest make.
This time around I am using an older MFT set called "Snuggle Bunnies"  , and the "Big Hugs" words die from a later release . I created a simple heart embossed background and framed it with the "Single Stitch Line Rounded Rectangles Frames" . I finished with the sentiment from the stamp set.
I do love that little fella , he is sooo cute!

Wplus9 | Beautiful Bouquet Mums

Hello there, it's Milly (Missy) here and I'm sharing my second post for My Mum's Craft Shop Guest Designer for month of February and today its's using this gorgeous Wplus9 Beautiful Mother's Bouquet stamp, don't you think it's such versatile stamp that you could use for many occasions in life. It's the perfect image for colouring too, as many of many followers may know I love my colouring pencils and was so eager to try them out with these stamps.

Stamped the image onto stitched panel using my diy stamp tool and versa fine onyx ink pad and repeated this to all four corners. Coloured the image in using colouring pencils. Applied double sided foam tape to the back of the panel and adhered onto black A2 card blank. Using a some sheer shimmer spray on acrylic block I painted it onto the flowers with paintbrush.

Cut the word friend out using black card with the silhouette cameo three times and stacked them on top of each other using zig fine glue pen and applied a little zig fine glue pen to the back of the friend
sentiment and adhered to the middle of the card.

Typed out the word Fabulous using Dymo Embossing machine, applied double sided foam tape to the near of the fabulous sentiment and placed on card just above the friend sentiment. To finish I added a few sequins and adhered them with micro glue dots.

Thank you ever so much to Kitty and her ever so talented design team for letting me be apart of this super team for the month of February. It's been lovely to be apart of such a friendly, kind and helpful team and I've enjoyed every single minute of it. Big Hugs xxx
