Spring Daisy

Hi folks, happy Friday, Fi here with today's post!

I have been doing a bit of watercolouring again with my new pens but may have got a little carried away but I really wanted to show you something different and also just to see how bright I could make the image.

The flowers in this set are from  the Altenew Spring Daisy set, it wasavailable whn I made the card but due to popular demand is out of stock again but on order and will be back shortly. The sentiment is also from the Altenew Label Love set which unfortunately is also out of stock and on order.

I stamped this image with black archival ink and then watercoloured using my new zig pens, I started with the light colours and grdaully added more darker shading until it was bright! Oh and I almost forgot...the splodges too, I made them from a teeny stamp in the MFT distressed patterns set.

Magical Wishes

Good Morning Crafters :)
I hope it is sunny where you are today - it's a bit dark and cloudy here but that does mean perfect crafting weather ;) Today I thought I would share a card I made using Avery Elle Pixie Dust...
I had so much fun creating this card. I coloured my Pixie and clouds using my Copics and cut them out. I applied ink to the background and die cut with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die-namics Dies. I also added some twine, white dots with a sharpie and quite a bit of glitter to the stars - doesn't show up too well in the picture.

Come back tomorrow for more fab inspiration from our Design Team.

Own Kind of Beautiful

Hello all, Kitty here today with my latest DT card that I made for My Mums Craft Shop...
Originally this one was going in a magazine too but it went AWOL and hasn't been found, such a shame as i spent ages lining up all the flowers on the this card. For this card I used the stunning Altenew Peony Bouquet. I used the Red Cosmos Inks & Green Fields Inks. I also used the Altenew Wood Pallet Background Stamp which was stamped in grey. The sentiment is from the Altenew Painted Inspiration Stamp Set. Some of these products may be out of stock at the moment but we are always getting them back in again so always keep checking.

House Mouse Confetti Fun

Today I'm sharing a card I made for a lovely friend's birthday.  She's had it now so I'm safe to share, and I must say that I rather liked it (and kinda wanted to keep it - but she's a very special friend so I'm happy that it's gone to a good home).

I've used Confetti Mouse from My Mum's Craft Shop and water-coloured it with a mix of DI reinkers and Sakura Stardust Gel pens for some sparkle on the confetti and banner.

Here's a close up (sorry it's a bit blurred but I didn't realise this until I'd sent her the card) to show the sparkle of the gel pens.

Beary Special Birthday

Hello Crafters,
Kelly here to share a card I've made using the fab new release from MFT called
I had great fun playing with these and will share more of them very soon.

Coloured with Spectrum Noir AquaBlend Pencils
Sorel, Bison, coral, umber, soft red

Hugs Kelly

Thank You

Hi folks, happy Friday, Fi here with today's post!

I have been doing a bit of watercolouring and this set of stamps from MFT called Build-able Bouquet is the perfect set to start with as the images aren't too big.

This set comes either just the stamps or the stamps with matching dies, unfortunately the stamp set on its own is out of stock at the moment but you can get the stamp set with the matching dies which is available from the My Mum's Craft Shop online store.

For this card I stamped the images and white embossed, this helps the colour not to run over the lines, it kind of holds it in place....it's a fab technique!  I then used watercolour pens to colour the images.  I added some little sequins and some white splodges to finish!

Oh the sentiment is from Altenew Label Love, which will be back in stock soon.

Snuggle Bunnies

I'm really late with my post today as I've just got home and realised that I forgot to draft it!  But it's worth the wait as it's a special card for a special birthday.  I really enjoyed the box card I made for Father's day and so decided to try a second one for a 50th birthday card for a friend.

I used MFT Snuggle Bunnies with the matching dies for my scene, and also used lots of scenery dies including my lovely Sunny Skies.

I created 4 layers of inserts which were good fun, but a bit fiddly!  I was pleased with the end result, and my friend seemed to like it too.  She gave me a commercially made pop up card for my 40th so I wanted to do something similar for her special birthday.

Here's a bit more of a close up of the cute bunnies and teddies in their garden scene:

Another Beautiful Day!

Hi there,

Clare here again with my card for

again using the amazing Beautiful Day stamp set from Altenew. I know stocks of this stamp set are arriving soon, so to be notified of when this arrives to be sure not to miss out you can leave your email address here.

I'm never short of ideas of what to do with this stamp set and that's one of the main things that I love about it.

First of all I die cut a circle from copy paper and applied removable adhesive. I stuck down to some white cardstock and stamped the flowers and leaves overlapping the edge of the circle using versa fine in Onyx Black. Some of the flowers I had to mask so that the other flowers appeared to be hiding behind the petals. I then removed the circle mask cut this out leaving a small border around the edge.

I stamped the greeting and the flower to the bottom right of the circle and coloured the flower sprig with Promarkers (pastel green and mint green). I cut some teal cardstock to fit a 6 x 6 kraft card blank and covered with three lengths of white sparkly ribbon which I then stuck down to the card blank. I fixed the flower cicle panel down with 3D foam tape and finished with three pink holographic epoxy dots from my stash.

Supplies Used:

Avery removable labels (for making the small flowers)
Copy paper (for making the circle mask)
Circle die
Versafine Onyx Black Ink
Promarkers in Pastel Green and Mint Green)
White Sparkly Ribbon
Teal Cardstock
6x6 Kraft Cardblank
Pink Holographic Epoxy dot
3D foam pads

Thanks for visiting my Mum's Craft shop blog today, don't forget to come and visit regularly for some more great inspiration from my other Design Team Colleagues!

love, Clare x

Hello...

Morning everybody, Fi here with today's inspiration!

When I spotted this stamp set on the MMCS website, I really did love it and there is soooo much you can do with it...it is so pretty!

The stamp set is from My Favourite Things and is called "Spring Wreath".  I used Aqua pens to colour the wreath and the flowers.  I also stamped up some splodges first using the same green colour, I also added a few extra leaves.  I cut out the flowers and the wreath and layered them up finishing with teeny pearls to the centres.

Pop back for more inspiration using the fab products from the MMCS website.
