Some Bunny Loves You

Hello My Mum's Craft Shop fans!!!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter break.
The sun is shining today, so I wanted to share my Spring-y new make.....

I had to use the gorgeous new Doodlebug Sugar Shoppe papers... and I created  a shaker card using the "Stitched Scallop Circles".
Then I used the MFT Comfy Sweater die, and added a Mama Elephant bunny to the front (paper pieced) from the "Honey Bunny" stamp set. I used the sentiment from the same set and added some stickles for a little bling for the finishing touch.
I do hope you will pop over to the shop and check out all the goodies arriving... Kitty has loads of yummy crafty goodies to treat yourself with... and why not? Its Spring.
Have a great day!
Hugs

Whale done!!

Hello Everyone! Jane here today and I have a card to share with you which I made using the 'Whale Hello' stamp set from Avery Elle which is available here from My Mum's Craft Shop.

I created a little scene for my Whale to dive around in using paper from the Carta Bella 'It's a boy papers'. I used a scalloped square die to create the waves which I then inked with some distress ink.

I coloured my image using Promarkers and then added him to my card using foam pads. I finished with a sentiment from the set and a bow and some wooden stars from my stash. This will be my last blog post for a few weeks as I am going in to hospital on Friday to have an operation on my hand.
I hope you have a lovely Tuesday!

Birthday Tweetings

Good Morning My Mum's Craft Shop fans.....
Well, dis-organised as always, this post is a tad late...
However, I wanted to share to latest dose of cuteness from MFT.
I love the last release, and I have a plethora of goodies gone into making this one.
The background on this one has  been made using the new Distress Crayons, and the MFT English Brick wall stencil. Then using my blending tool I swooshed some distress inks over the top, added some pretty sequins , and the sentiment. this was from the "Tweet Friends" stamp set. I die cut the "Cheerful Cages", and popped on the birds from the Tweet friends set. They were coloured with my watercolour pencils. For more details check out my blog.
Have fun crafting today!!!

Happy Wishes!

Hello Everyone! Jane here today. I hope you are well and had a good day. I apologise for the lateness of my post today. I have a card to share with you today which I made using the WPlus 9 Happy Wishes stamp set which is available here from My Mum's Craft shop.

I used pink and lilac inks to layer up the flower stamps to create a pretty birthday day and also used a sentiment from the set to stamp in to the centre of the card then stamped the flowers and leaves around. I love how versatile the stamp set is and it looks so different if you stamp it in different colours.

I love this style of stamping and how the pattern builds up really quickly to create really pretty backgrounds. I layered the finished piece on to purple patterned paper and to pink card before adding it to the card base. I hope you have a lovely evening.

Doodle Buds

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well.

It's Shelly here with you today and I'm a bit late to the party as I normally have this post scheduled in advance but I got up early this morning to frantically type it because I seem to be lost with what day it is lately....it must be my age lol!

Today I am showcasing the amazing Doodle Buds stamp set by WPlus9 which is available here.

This is such a versatile set with loads of mix and match options for you to create some gorgeous projects.

For my card I decided to stamp myself a background using the various elements.  I stamped randomly onto a piece of cardstock and then cut it down to fit my card.  Everything has been coloured with Copics, including the blue background, which was done using B000.  I've gone around the edges of the flowers with B00 to highlight them and added some dots around with the tip of the pen.  I matted my completed panel onto pink cardstock.

It's hard to tell from the picture but I've added glitter to the centres of the flowers and the effect looks amazing.

If you enjoy colouring then this is the card for you.  You could even make your own colouring pages !  I have got a few stamped up ready so that if I don't fancy making a card I can just relax with a bit of colouring.

That's all from me for today, I can breathe a sigh of relief now I'm up to date.

Have a great Thursday.

Love you Bots!

Hello Everyone! Jane here today. I hope you had a good Weekend and a good start to the week. I am back today with my DT card for My Mum's Craft shop and I have another 'Love' themed card to share with you.
I used the Paper Smooches Boom Bots stamp set on my card and had a bit of fun experimenting with Watercolour backgrounds.

I used some precut postcards from Paperchase to create my background on using Distress inks. I smeared some Tumbled glass ink straight from the pad on to a non stick craft sheet and picked it up with a wet brush before painting it randomly on to the card. I actually used my Cosmic Shimmer brush so the painted effect has a slight shimmer to it and some darker accents.

I stamped the adorable robot on to white card and coloured him in using Promarkers before cutting him out and adding him to the card with foam pads and then stamped some hearts and cogs from the set.

I added a sentiment and then mounted the finished panel on to a kraft card. I will definitely be experimenting with watercolour backgrounds again as I love the finished effect. I hope you have a lovely Tuesday!
