I admit that I do have a bit of a soft spot for pingus and I really like this new WRS image! I love his cute little expression but I think he's going to struggle to hide that huge pressie behind him! I've teamed him with a MFT Goo edge die to look like dripping snow and a trio of rhinestones for sparkle.
First I white embossed one of the sentiments from the set and then I brushed some colour over the background and then spritzed with water to give it a bit of texture. I stamped the candles into watercolour ink and then stamped onto watercolour card and then once dry I cut them out.
I added some sticky fixers and the layered the candles onto the card.
I distressed the edges of the card and layered it onto some black card.
Hello My Mum's Craft Shop Fans...... I have a quick post to share today . I am loving the scenes you can create using the MFT gift box cover up die, and all the cute stamps sets from MFT. This one is using the "Ewe are the best" set. Here's one I made earlier! More details are on my blog... Have great day! Lis-M x
I've been drooling over the Altenew layered stamps for months and so when the Layered Lilies landed on my doormat I was a teensy bit excited to ink them up.
Once I'd inked the 3 main layers, I then used a pencil to darken the centres and add some streaks to the centres and edges of each petal. Finally I used a tiny paintbrush to dot some ink speckles into the centre and black ink to stamp the stamens.
I was so pleased with how they turned out that I got a bit carried away and couldn't seem to stop using them, but instead of boring you with 4 separate posts, I've decided to bore you with all 4 cards in a single post, so brace yourself for a quartet of lilies!
Again using the amazingBeautiful Day stamp set from Altenew. I don't think I have ever used a stamp set so much and that's because it's so versatile. I know stocks of this stamp set are arriving soon, so to be notified of when this arrives to be sure not to miss out you can leave your email address here.
This time I've used the Altenew ink cubes in blues, reds and yellows along with the greens to stamp the colours. I usually start with the lightest colour and biggest stamp then build up the smallest stamp, darkest colour. I've stamped the flowers and leaves in versa fine black onyx over the top. I then cut them out and layered them overlapping onto a piece of white card cut to size to fit an A6 card. Before I fixed them down I sewed a zig zag edge with my sewing machine.
I then stamped the greeting from the stamp set onto black cardstock using Hero Arts Unicorn ink and embossed with Wow! Embossing powder in Opaque bright white regular. I cut this out and then drew a line along the ourside edge with a fine line white gel pen (It's a Pilot one I got fromW.H. Smith and one of the best I've had).
Well I really hope you like this card. Maybe for my net card I'll progress onto another stamp set! hee hee.
So now the new issue of Making Cards Magazine is out I can share my makes from last months issue. I have been itching to share my Unicorn Cards, I am thrilled how they turned out in the end and hope you like them too. So here is the first one....
I created the background of this card using some distress markers scribbles onto acetate with a touch of water. I then die cut the panel using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle Dienamics Dies. I added some glitter washi tape across the middle along with some large pearls. The clouds were die cut using the Dienamics Puffy Clouds. The unicorns were stamped then die cut with the MFT Magical Unicorn Stamp & Die Set. I coloured each of the images with my copic pens and attached them all in place with foam pads. I used my Wink Of Stella Pen to add some glitter to the stars.
Now you may have noticed how much I love playing with the MFT stamp and die sets lol
For this card I have used the Beary Special Birthday stamps and dies, unfortunately these have now sold old but should be back in stock soon.
Hello Fellow Crafters, Kitty here with my latest creation for My Mums Craft Shop. For my creation this week I decided to use some My Favorite Things products to create a pretty thank you card....
For this card I used the Beautiful Blooms Stamp & Die Set which were all stamped with various dye inks. There are so many flowers in this set the possibilities really are endless! The background papers are Tranquil Textures. I then added the Twice The Thanks sentiment die which was die cut in white then die cut in grey. I then added some ribbon and gems to finish.
If any of these items are out of stock and you would like to order them please email us and we will order them in for you.
I'm back with another House Mouse creation for my card to share with you this fortnight.
This time however I have created a Clean & Simple card and only added a teeny splash of colour ...
The card blank is a small 4x4 size which is perfect for those quick cards you need in a hurry! The splash of colour was created by using the MFT 'Distressed Patterns' stamp set onto which I stamped the House Mouse design. The sentiments are from a separate set by Hero Arts and the card was finished off with some Doodlebug Sprinkles.
I did infact make a second version using a paler ink which is one of my favourite's but a pain to get it to show on a photograph so trust me ... the second card looks much better in real life!
Hello crafters, I hope you have all had a lovely weekend. Have you seen our range of Hero Arts Stamps? They have some really gorgeous stamp sets out at the moment including the ones I have used for this card...love love love ranunulus stamps at the moment :)
For this card i used the Hero Arts You're So Lovely Stamps which were stamped using various dye ink pads. I used a stencil for the background and brushed a little distress ink through it. I wrapped some twine around the background panel attached a bow. I added some rhinestones to the flowers and a sentiment to finish.
