Hello Peeps :)
Just a quick post from me today as i am off to Exeter Craft Show, been a few months since i visited a craft show so i am off to have a crafty shopping spree, hopefully pick up some bargains too!  I am also posting my card a day early as we have the launch of our challenge tomorrow! Today i have am with a quick & easy card. This week our theme is Something New so i thought i would ink up one of my new sets of The Alley Way Stamps.
I love bee images, i have to confess i have quite a few, there is something cheerful about them, maybe it's because they are bright yellow and that cheers me up! This stamp is from the Priceless Joy Set which is full of uber cute little images. I coloured up mr bee with my Copics and i stamped the bzzz sentiment a few times to create a sentiment banner. I also used an SU embossing folder & some Pink Petticoat Digi Honeycomb papers!

Thanks for stopping by today :)

Embossed Love

Morning guys. :)

I ordered a bunch of Paper Smooches from Kitty with their new release and almost screamed when I opened the envelope. They're gorgeous. I highly recommend you hop over to the Paper Smooches part of the shop and check them all out

This card is VERY clean and simple for me. Like, the. most. CAS. I'll. Ever. Get.

I used a textured white card base, some gorgeous navy blue cardstock from Papercuts and some Silver WOW embossing powder.

This would be perfect to give to a male for Valentine's. I know my boyfriend would appreciate a simple design like this more than something that was totally OTT with embellishments.

Thank you for stopping by today, I'll be back next Wednesday with an installment of MMCS goodies! xo

A new baby girl

Hey guys, its Tuesday again!!! How does that happen so fast???
So, that means it my turn here at My Mum's Craft Shop  to share a "new" something with our "new" theme this week ...

How about a new baby card??
I have used the Echo park papers "Bundle of Joy girl " , I LOVE these... I have used them over and over... not just for baby cards either...
I colour my baby stamp up with my markers added some flowers from stash, and a swirly leafy die cut... Embellished with stickles.. and tried out my new gesso, through a stencil, to get a bit of texture. Maybe I need practice...
Don't forget to pop back and see what "new" creations my MMCS teamies come up with.
You're in for a treat!!

Birthday's Rock

Hi all

Lyndsey here with my Monday post - and this week we are showing something new on our cards.

So my something new is my cute little image from LMMS and is called Luna Bitterfrost - Birthdays Rock. I teamed her with some fairly new (to me) papers from Echo Park - Here & Now & added a few embellishments which are new in store 3D Daisies & Clear Coloured Gem Dots from the £1 Embellishment packs.

I am also trying out something new this year with my cards and seem to be going for a more clean and simple look to my creations without needing to add lots of ribbon and flowers etc.

Thanks for joining me here today, please do pop back throughout the week to check out the fabulous creations from my team mates.

Compost Happens

Hey up!! Wednesday again.

We've got ourselves a free week, which means I got to play with yet another Paper Smooches stamp set.

The set I used for this card is "Green Thumb"  - I knew as soon as I seen it I had to have it!! Look at that sentiment - compost happens - perfect for so many cards!!

There are pieces of veg in the set including this cute carrot and pea pod.

I knew when I sat down to make this card I didn't want it to include any colouring, so I decided to paper piece instead. I used papers from Carta Bella Wildflower pack and really loved how the little seed packets turned out!

This card would be perfect to send to a gardening friend or to anyone who is in need of a little pick me up!!

Voila - a card without a ProMarker in sight! I even resisted the urge to colour the little snails shell! ;)

Thank you for stopping by today. xo

Hap-Bee Birthday

Hi all,

Lyndsey here with my Monday inspiration post. We have a free week this week so I had lots of ideas to choose from.

For my card today I have used the utterly adorable Tiddly Ink stamp - Happy Bee Day. I really love this little cutie dressed up in her busy bee outfit.

I teamed the image with some gorgeous Echo Park papers- Times & Seasons 2, made a cute little double bow topped with a Large Sparkler and added a couple of Striped Candy Dots. The sentiment which I then stamped direct onto the paper in the top corner comes with the stamp.

Thanks for joining me here on the MMCS blog, please do pop back throughout the week to see what my teamies have come up with.

Blast from the past...

Morning Peeps :)

Whilst riffling through my stash the other day, I spotted this stamp from CC Designs and had the urge to colour her up. (She's currently in the Big Winter Sale too!) After I found her, I dug out some of my fave papers from Echo Park and made a really happy, spring card. With such busy paper, I didn't want to over complicate the card, so some twine and a Wooden Button made it Job Done!

Have a great Sunday.

I Heart You

Hello my crafty friends :)
Kitty here, so as you know our theme for this week is red, pink & white. I had to use MFT products again as i had waited ages (ok only a week!) to use these stamps & dies! Well at least i am using them ;)
So for this card i started off by using the Dienamics XOXO Cover Up for the background. I decided to keep it looking like an embossed effect - can you imagine how long it would have taken to push out all those little letters?! The rest of the papers i used on this card are from My Minds Eye Cupids Arrow Paper Pad. The stamps are of course the MFT Heart Balloons & matching Dienamics Heart Balloon Dies. I also added a bit of twine from my stash.

Catch you all soon :)

You are Loved

Hi all

Lyndsey here to show you my inspiration post for the Red, Pink & White theme this week. I thought this card would be perfect for Abbie to give to her little boyfriend on Valentines Day, so coloured the image to look like her lol.

I used the gorgeous image Celeste Amberglow Heartstrings from LLMM and teamed her with some fabby Echo Park Sweet Girl papers (unfortunately the papers are out of stock at the moment but you will find lots of other Echo Park pads HERE). I kept the design quite simple for me and added just a couple of embellishments to finish - Large Sparkler & Wooden Heart Button which are available in store for just £1 per pack.

Don't forget to pop back during the week for more fabulous inspiration from my lovely team mates.

Picture This

Hello peeps :)
Kitty here with my usual Saturday slot! We have had so much new stock in this week it was tricky to know what to use as all of it is lush! I did decide to go for my favourite company, yep you guessed it MFT of course ;)
I made this using some of the fabulous new releases that were launched earlier this week. I used Dienamics Cute Cameras 2 and MFT Picture This Stamps. I teamed these up with some embossed card and some papers by Authentique. I made it a bit 3d so the layers pop in real life but also kept it simple.

Thank you for stopping by :)
