Kraft and white cardstock

Hope you have a wonderful week and I shall be back again next Friday (off to schedule my post now so I don't forget again, lol!)

Die cut heaven!

Good Morning Everyone!  I hope you are having a good week. I am very much looking forward to the Weekend now and hope to spend a lot of time crafting on Saturday! The card I am sharing with you today has been made using a pre-coloured die cut Kenny K image and MFT dienamics die shapes.

The papers I have used are by Fancy Pants from the 'Be You' pad which is available here from My Mum's Craft shop. The papers were layered onto pink card which I also used for die cutting the Dienamics shapes.
I cut the frame around the image free hand with my small scissors. I added lots of gorgeous flowers from my stash and a shiny satin ribbon topped with a gingham button and finished the card with some lilac gems.
Have a great Thursday!

Cute!

Morning, morning...

So you know I'm totally in love with the new Printed Panels from Wild Rose Studio, right? This is another adorable print from the Bella Panels Pack. Not only are all the images just the cutest, they'll also help you out of a tight corner, when you realise you need to make something for yesterday! As I've said before, the hardest, and most time consuming part, is deciding which gorgeous papers to use with it!

I've teamed Bella up with some polka dot paper from a Christmas Stack and Bella Papers, both from Wild Rose Studio, lashings of buttons from my stash and my latest Must Have Die Set from Die-Namics; By the Letter. You'll have to forgive my slightly wonky 'Cute', I was so excited to finally have these Dies in my hand, I lost focus a little. ;)

Have a great week!

Tea and cake anyone??

Morning!!  Well its Tuesday again and that means its time for me to show you some of the things I have been up to since we last met!!

First up we have a a card that I made using a collection of the gorgeous goodies stocked in the shop.

How cute is this image from Kraftin' Kimmie?  She is one of a set of three gorgeous girls from the Lulu and Friends stamp sheet.  It also has 6 sentiments that go perfectly with the images, one of which I have used here.   The lilac backing papers are a double sided sheet from the Fizzy Moon little ones decoupage paper pad.   Seeing as Lulu is mixing what can only be a cake mixture (!), the cupcake die from C C Designs seemed ideal!  I used scraps of pearlescent card to make the creamy cake tops, the colours worked well with the whole card.
Kitty has had the new Dovecraft Tea Party Collection in store for a few weeks now and to finish this card off I used the stripy paper (from the 6x6 paper pad) to make the cupcake cases,  the circular doilies and cupcake ribbon.

The following cards are made from the Tea Party Collection aswell.

There are all sorts of goodies in this collection from papers to twine, stickers to buttons.....
go on over to the shop and stock up!!!

See you next week

Simple Cards From A Class

What a glorious sunny day it is today, i hope you are all enjoying the pre easter Sunshine!
I have a few cards show to you that we made in a Beginners Class in the shop. They are really simple to make but we all had a ball making these and the girls were really pleased with the results!
This one was made with a Little Claire Stamp called Swirlie Whirlie Poppies. We added a bit of spotty paper and card and used a few Nestabilities, coloured with Copics & a bit of Card Candi.
This lovely simple make was made using another Little Claire Stamp and a sentiment which was mounted onto Nestabilities. We simply added a dash of ribbon & Pearls and spend ages colouring with Copics! For this cutie card we used Splishing & Splashing, we even learnt to paper pierce the umbrella!
The girls in the class loved this technique!

Make sure you pop back tomorrow for more card ideas from the Design Team!!

Be You and Pamper Yourself!

Hi everyone! Today I have card to share that I made earlier this week using the fabulous Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Shopping Emily, available to buy HERE from the MMCS store!

The Shopping Emily stamp comes with its own fabby sentiment but I decided to use the "Pamper yourself" sentiment that comes with the Relaxing Charlotte stamp for this card.

I used some yummy Fancy Pants "Be You" 6x6 paper and some kraft and black cardstock. Shopping Emily was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copics (I also did a little paper piecing!).  Here is a full recipe, complete with links to the MMCS store:

Recipe
Image: SCRS Shopping Emily rubber stamp
Sentiment: SCRS Relaxing Charlotte rubber stamp
Memento Tuxedo Black ink pad
Copic markers
Fancy Pants "Be You" 6x6 paper
Back2Basics 148mm square card blank
Kraft & Black cardstock
Black 1/8"Ric Rac; Black Grosgrain Ribbon; Button; Button Twine

Thanks so much for dropping by today and if you're out and about shopping this weekend, remember to "Be You and Pamper Yourself"!  Have a wonderful weekend!

You're Wheely Great!

Good Morning! I can't believe it is Thursday already, this week is going really fast!Jane here today with a card made using some of the beautiful new First Edition Boho Chic papers which are available here from My Mum's Craft Shop. The papers in this pack are gorgeous and so feminine and pretty. I love the woodgrain paper and stripes in particular that I have used on my card today.

The card base I used is a smaller scalloped edge card by Craftwork cards which are available here, they are a great size for quick cards and the perfect size for this adorable stamp called Roll with it from My Favourite things in the Pure Innocence range which is available here.
I teamed the papers with some gorgeous ribbon and some paper flowers and die cut the sentiment into a label shape before mounting it with foam pads. I added a couple of stick on pearls as a finishing touch. I hope you have a lovely Thursday!

A La Mode... Cheers

Morning All. :)

A little while back, I was asked to make a card for a Mum, who was going to be sixty, while on holiday in Australia, and likes wine. Well, the paper choice was easy, as My Minds Eye Lost and Found 2 Blush Paper Pad had just arrived on my desk and my fingers were itching.

The wine bit had me a little perplexed until I had a rummage through the My Mum's Craft Shop Store and found My Favourite Things A La Modes Cheers. If you like wine, you'll love Champagne, right? And a sixtieth birthday is a good reason to have a little glass of bubbles!

The Australia bit had me scratching my head for a while, but it was really easy to create some travel ticket type sentiments with Whimsy Stamps Friendship Ticket Sentiments and the Whimsy Shapeology Ticket Die. Job done.

Have a great day. Ooh, and of you get a chance to pop over to the Store, do, as there are lots of yummy goodies arriving on a daily basis...

Hi everyone!  As you may have guessed, we're changing things a bit here at the MMCS blog!  The design team has now all been assigned a day each week to post our weekly MMCS creations, and as it's Friday, it's my turn (Simonne)!

First up is a card I have made using the beautiful Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Charlotte with a Rose rubber stamp and lots more goodies from MMCS:

Next up is a very quick and easy card that I whipped up this morning using some of the brand new and very yummy Dovecraft Tea Party collection:

Finally I also would love to share with you one of 2 of my projects featured in this month's Cardmaking & Papercraft magazine (issue 103)!  This particular project is a 3-page spread called "10 ideas with Numbers" on pages 24-26. I used MFT Die-namics By The Letters, MFT By The Numbers Die-namics and Stamp set and Echo Park Victoria Gardens 12x12 Collection Kit - all available to buy (or order if it's out of stock!) from MMCS!!

Pretty Pastels, Spring flowers and lots of bling!

Good Morning Everyone! Jane here today to share my first card as a My Mum's Craft Shop Design Team Member! I have made a card using the The Hobby House Wee Stamps Toppers from the Spring Bringer set. The toppers are already pre-coloured so can be used to make a quick card just as they are or you can add more to the toppers as I have done here by distressing the edges of the die cut with ink and adding a little sewing. Wee is carrying a beautiful bouquet of flowers and I took inspiration from the colours and chose papers from the My Mind's Eye Dolled up paper pad which is available here.

I matted the papers onto an aqua paper from the pad. I really love the pink/aqua colour combination and the beautiful Hobby House flowers packs match perfectly with the papers.

I have embellished the card with a gems swirl and some stick on pearls from the Hobby House which are available here from My Mum's Craft Shop. I hope you have a lovely Thursday!

The first being a quick card....(again like Faye said yesterday, once you have chosen your papers!)

List of ingredients

Card number two took a little longer and involved some colouring!

Kenny K OMG!

It's barely even 9am on a Monday morning and i'm up and raring to go, LOL!
Today i have to show you a card using the new Toppers, this time it's a Kenny K one!
I just love how easy these are to make cards with and this one took no time at all to make really!
This one is off the Madison Avenue Topper Sheet. The papers are some Kaisercraft ones i have had for a while - i am trying to use up more of my papers before getting more!
I used two of my fav Dienamics on this card, By The Letters for the 'omg' & Stacking Stars. The flourish is of course the Magnolia Swirl. MMCS is due a massive delivery of Dienamics soon so if you are waiting get on the reserves list by emailing now!

Wild Rose Studio saves the day!

So, what do you do when you realise that Mothers Day is in a week, and not at the end of March, like you thought it was? No, you don't panic. You let Wild Rose Studio take the strain of course!

Take one Polka Dot Paper Stack and choose something, erm, spotty! Add some doodling. Doodle around the edge of one of the brand new, and totally adorable Annabelle Printed Panels. Dose liberally with Stickles. Wrap some Seam Binding around both the panels, add a flower with a botton and some twine. Job done.

Allow twenty minutes to make and forty minutes to dither about which panel you want to use first...

La La Double!

Morning!

It's a La La Land Crafts double for me today using some of the new stamps in Store. Luka is just the cutest little chap. I've used Luka with Flowers on the tag and Cowboy Luka on the card downstairs! He sure does get into some mischief.

And yes, I spy, My Minds Eye! The gorgeous papers on the tag are from the On The Bright Side One Pad. Finding it a bit hard to cut this one up...

Have a great week. :)
