Is anyone else slightly concerned that Christmas is less than six weeks away?! OMG! How did that happen? When did that happen? But breathe, it's ok. I only need about forty cards. And with this one, I have approximately, well, let me see... erm, three!
I'm afraid I'm still loving the cute new Pickle stamps from Wild Rose Studio. This one is called Christmas Cuddle. Isn't it adorable? And I'm working my way through the fabby Wintry Christmas Paper Pad, also Wild Rose Studio. I love this pad, because the papers aren't really Christmassy. So, on Christmas Eve, when I'm panicking because I don't have time to make the other thirty seven Christmas cards I need, at least I'll be able to console myself with the fact I'll still be able to play with these papers, long after I'm stuffed with Christmas pud...
I just adore this stamp - Relaxing Charlotte. What better way to relax and take a bit of "me time" by indulging in a luxurious bubble bath ... and with a glass of something bubbly, of course! Mmmmm...heaven! :)
This is also my card for the current SCRS challenge which is "White on White". I've never made a card like this before, and I must confess that I was just a teeny, tiny bit scared! Eek! I love my patterned papers, so much so that I often think how awesome it would be if I could paper a wall in a particular design. I hunted through my H-UGE paper collection but despite coming across a few papers that would have been o-kay, I couldn't find anything that really fitted, so out came my super-neglected embossing folders. The jury is out ... I'm not quite sure if I like or not ... but I can tell you that it was one of the quickest cards I've ever made! And when my mum first saw it she said it would be perfect for a hen's night invite! :)
I thought I'd stop by and share a card I've made using Charlotte with Rose from Sparkle Creations. It's the first time I've used one of these fabby stamps and she was great fun to play with.
I've teamed her up with some Christmas papers. Yes, you read that right. These papers are from the Holly Jolly Christmas Pad by Echo Park. I'm a bit of a Bah Humbug when it comes to Christmas papers, so I love that this pad contains papers that I can use for other times of the year too! :)
The border strip has been created using the Open Zig Zag Border Die from Die-Namics. You need to check out this brilliant range, if you've not already. They release new dies every month and they always give a good, clean cut.
Ok, that's all from me today. I hope you have a great weekend.
