Beach Babe Wrynn

Good morning my lovelies! I hope you had a fabulous Easter break???
Mine was soooo good that it totally wiped my short term memory , lol! I was so sure I had written up this post... Oooops !!!
so without further ado... here is my make for this weeks Kraft theme....

Ok, the card base is Kraft , and the papers are BoBunny "Sun kissed" .This is  Beach Babe Wrynn from the Tiddly Inks , isn't she sooo cute in the bikini??
I have coloured her with my spectrum pens and pencils....
The sun is a die cut from the die-namics "Sun, Moon & stars", I have added an additional circle of DP onto it, and then the sentiment . The wave border,"Catch a wave"  from Die-namics,  is cut from Kraft and another from the DP too. I distressed lots with Vintage photo DI , and matting all the layers onto kraft cardstock.. I wanted to leave it simple... there you have it !!
theres more details on the colours used on my blog...
Best check thats gone up too , lol!
Have a super crafty day peeps!

Hi all,

Lyndsey here with my regular Monday inspiration posting, this week its all about Kraft - I dont know about you but I think its one of the most versatile colour card you can get - it goes with everything. If I can't find the right colour for my mats I always end up grabing a piece if kraft lol.

Anyway for my card today I have used a gorgeous Wee Stamps Hobby House Topper, teamed her with some lovely MME papers (unfortunately this particular pack is not in stock - but you will find lots of other fabulous designs in store) and added just a few flowers to finish inc a couple of cute resin roses.

Thank you for joining me here on the blog today, please do pop back throughout the week to check out my team mates fabulous creations.

Just to let you know there is also free P & P on all orders over £5 this bank holiday (off lasts till 9am Tues 22nd)
and you can also get 15% off all The Alley Way Stamps and free Jillybean Soup stickers with all orders over £10.

Hope you all have a fabulous Bank Holiday

Kraft Week on the My Mum's Craft Shop blog

Hello Everyone! Happy Easter! Jane here today and our theme on the blog  this week is 'Kraft'. I have used lots of it on my card!  I have gone all pink and girly to balance out the Black and Kraft and have used the Pure Innocence Sassitude card as my focal image, she reminds me so much of lovely Goddaughter Poppy, and the Cheetah Background stamp to make the animal print background.

The pink paper is by American Crafts and has been in my stash for ages and I used it to paper piece the dress and bow too. The sentiment comes with the image and I added a little heart brad , a paper flower and some stick on gems to finish.

Here is a little close up of the image. I just love her little boots! They are so adorable! I hope you have a lovely Easter Sunday.

You're a Lifesaver

Happy Hump Day!!

I'm back with some more inspiration using products from My Mum's Craft Shop today!! :)

Sit back and enjoy this incredibly short blog post!

So I used some Neenah Solar White cardstock.
A bunch of inks - Memento Dew Drops and Versafine
.. and THIS awesome Wicked Nauticool stamp set from Paper Smooches,

I mean.. come on?! Cool no?!

I did challenge myself to use no patterned paper, but I couldn't help myself.. and these Paper Smooches sets lend them so well to paper piecing. I used an older My Minds Eye set with loads of scraps left.

Be sure to stop by the blog each day for more inspiration! :) xo

Quacky birthday!!!

Hello and welcome to our "free" week here at My Mum's Craft Shop blog....
If you are a canny crafter you will identify with me , when sometimes you can create a DT card, and have it pre-purposed... in this case for a special little girls birthday!!!
Her favourite toy of the moment is a little yellow duck , which goes everywhere with her, so this is what I came up with....

This adorable fella is "Duck in boots"... from Some Odd Girl, and I have coloured him up with my markers....
The yummy papers, are a perfect team up for this card, and are my Mind's Eye Six by Six "Life of the party
I have used a couple of MFT die-namics dies, the scallop die and the looped border die . The sentiment was from my PC...
Another quick make, and the perfect papers , once again , from My Mind's Eye, made it easy peasy!!!
Have a super crafty day!!
