I've been quite taken by some of the little House Mouse images I've seen in blogland but have never really tried them much myself, so I decided to rectify that with a little cutie House Mouse Carrying Mints. He looks like he's in a bit of a hurry!
I've used my new favourite word die again, Happy Wishes by Wplus9 which I'm really fond of at the moment. I hope you like it. :0)
I haven't coloured for such a long time and I totally loved spending time colouring this fabulous image - 'Stampin Bella - Cosmobella' which may be currently out of stock - but just enter you email address on the product screen and you will be the first to know when it's available - simples!
I teamed this little beauty with some gorgeous bright and cheery Design Papers from MFT 'Sweet Celebration' mat and layered onto black card to really make them pop :)
Now this stamp set is fro Altenew called Beautiful Day and it is really a beautiful set. I thought I would try something different since I managed to get my scan n cut to actually work!
So first I stamped the flowers, leaves and flourishes onto watercoloured card and then I die cut them. I then very subtly coloured the flowers with watercolour pens. I decided to leave some of the image in white as I thought it actually looked quite cool. I layered it all up and mounted onto black cardstock and added a sentiment and some pearls and sequins.
I have been waiting so long for this this stamp set to be back in stock and couldn't believe it when I noticed it was available back in My Mums Craft Shop.
I white embossed the flower and leaves and then watercoloured them using my zig clean colour brush pens (omg I love these pens). I gradually added more layers of colour and then once I was happy I then dragged out some of the colour from the flower and leaves to add a bit of subtle shading around the images. I stamped the sentiment with black ink and layered on top.
I then added some black splodges, sequins to finish.
Hello My Mum's Craft Shop Fans! Today I have a mix of old and new products to share with you. I know I say it every time , but I LOVE how MFT products work so well together. I used "Friend" die to cut through the front of my card base, and DP. I created the dotty holes with a die from one of my Blueprints sets. The "Magical Unicorns" were stamped and die cut out, coloured and glittered and popped into my card. the "Happy Birthday" die cut out my sentiment in green glitter card, and I added gems to finish. Nice and quick, and perfect for the special friend. Check out the shop for all those gorgeous goodies... be quick , they sell fast. Have a great day crafting! Lis-M x
